Javea ~ 28th March - 2nd April

Our last week in Javea.

Monday we headed off to walk Cap Prim. It was a nice day, although the sea was quite rough with surf rolling in on the beach.

Tuesday we did a bike ride to Granadella. We enjoy this pretty cove very much.

Wednesday. BBQ day 😊 with Lesley and Rob. We started off with a game of boules, BBQ'd and then rounded the day off with cards.

Thursday, we decided to do the lighthouse walk again, only we changed the route slightly. Once at the pennisula, we followed a track that took us along the edge, keeping the town and sea in view, instead of going into the middle and following the path through the new growth of the, soon to be woods. The new route kept us in the shade for quite a while until we met up with the original track and continued along to the lighthouse and down into the port area. We stopped off for drinks at the corner bar before returning back to camp. As always a nice, long walk but slightly different on this occasion.

Friday we met up with Rob and Lesley and went to the market bar for tapas. We then headed off down to the port area and stopped at a bar we've never been to before, Montgo de Bongo. This was very pleasant, sitting on the beach looking out to sea. After this, we headed back to Rob and Lesley's for cards 🤣.

Saturday, we started getting a few things ready for our departure on Monday. Mid afternoon we headed down to the seafront. It was buzzing with families. It was a great atmosphere. We stopped off at a new bar to us, Charlies Beach Club, which gave us great views and people watching opportunities.

Sunday, our last day here. After breakfast at Creme de la Creme, we headed off to meet up with Rob and Lesley. Poor Rob, he was so poorly after we left on Friday, totally out of action on Saturday, but we were assured that he was a lot better today. So we met up with them at their place for our last game of cards, I would like to say redemption, but we were a hopeless cause🤣. Still, we had a good game and then headed down to the beach to get a late lunch. The beach area was busy again and buzzing. A very good atmosphere there. We eventually said our 'goodbyes' to them and headed back to camp. We popped in to see Steve & Vicki, had a couple of drinks with them and said our 'goodbyes' to them too. That's it, we are off in the morning to Alberracin.
