Sandringham - June 2021

We took the opportunity to get a week away in Sandringham just after the schools finished half term., whilst the weather was nice.

We took a stroll from the campsite through the woods up to the Sandringham Estate. We had a lovely walk around the estate and round the gardens. The Rhoderdenderums were in full bloom and they were stunning.

Whilst there we we did a couple of cycle rides that took us through small villages. It's such a slow, leisurely pace here. Hardly any traffic around. During the rides, we saw on quite a few occasions Red Kites flying up above us.

We also had a day at Kings Lynn which is a lovely old town, very interesting. We walked along the estuary and stopped for a nice pub lunch. We also took a trip to Hunstanton, walking along the beach to Holme and then back along the river. All very nice and pleasant.
