BURFORD ~ October 2025
A four day break in Burford to meet up with Lesley & Rob, as we've not seen them since July last year. We arrived Sunday afternoon and took a stroll into Burford for a look around, and sometthing to eat. Then back for the start of a series of games of Hearts. Monday, we did a circular walk through the villages nearby and along the Windrush river. It was a pleasant day and surprisingly got hotter the further we walked. We must have stopped about half way and managed to find a pub, which we wouldn't have found had we not missed our path and gone wrong briefly. However, it was just what we needed. A drink and something to eat. It was extrenely busy considering it was a Monday and really in the middle of nowhere! However, after our break we were able to pick up the trail and carry on back to Burford. A really enjoyable walk. Of course when we got back to Burford, the cards came out.
